THE POWER OF GYM DISCIPLINE
THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT IT

Consistency is key: Discipline is the cornerstone of consistency.
It’s what ensures that you hit the gym regularly, even on days you don’t feel like going at all.
It’s where the REAL progress is made and the foundation of any successful fitness journey.

Overcoming plateaus: Inevitably, you’ll encounter plateaus in your fitness journey.
Times when progress seems slow or even non-existent but even you have to keep pushing and remember that patience is key.

Setting and achieving goals: Discipline helps you set clear, achievable goals and stick to a plan to reach them.
Whether it’s losing weight, gaining muscle or just improving your overall health.
A disciplined adherence to your workouts and nutrition plan is crucial.

Cultivating GYM DISCILPINE
Here are 8 tips that you should add to your routine to sustain gym discipline

  1.  Set specific goals: To stay disciplined, you need to know exactly towards what you’re working at.
Set clear, achievable fitness goals that motivate you. These could be anything from running a certain distance to lifting a particular weight or creating more muscle mass.

  2. Create a schedule: Establish a workout schedule that fits into your daily routine and write down the exact dates and hours that you will go.
Treat your gym time as non-negotiable, just like any other important appointment.

  3. Accountability Partners: Find a work out buddy or join a fitness class or group.
Accountability partners can help you stay on track and provide that extra push when motivation wanes.
Plus you can hardly cheat when you are with another person or have your classes booked prior.

  4. Track your progress: Keeping a workout journal or using fitness apps can help you see how far you’ve come.
Celebrate your victories, no matter how small they are. Use that as motivation and keep going!

Personally I used my notes to write down what weights I was lifting so I could feel a little celebration when I’m changing them to a higher number.
I would also take LOADS of pictures to keep me on track and to look back after to see your progress.

While motivations may get you started on your fitness journey,

it’s discipline that will keep you on the path to SUCCES

Cultivating gym discipline is a lifelong skill that extends far beyond the walls of the gym, benefiting various aspects of your life.

Remember that discipline is not about being perfect; it’s about being persistent and committed to your goals.

So, lace up those sneakers, embrace the discipline and watch as your fitness aspirations become reality.

  • One of my favorite quotes is: ”ONE DAY OR DAY ONE”

You could keep on saying ‘Hmm I should do this one day’ and continue being in this cycle of taking any action. OR you could make this day the da that you start doing it

Then in less then one week you will start to feel better

In one month you will see progress

And in a couple months people will notice that progress and ask you how you did it.

  1. Stick to a routine: Sticking to the same workout routine can be critical even if it’s for some people quite boring.
But if you realle want to create muscle mass I would highly recommend to choose a few bigger exercises and to keep doing those.
Once you get the hang of those you can increase the weight and will see progress very soon.
Just keep going and once you get stronger it will be a lot  more fun believe me!

  2. Practice self-care: Rest and recovery are as important as the exercises themself.
Listen to your body and allow it to recuperate when needed.
Overtraining could lead to burnout and loss of discipline.
I know the first days are hard and you will get sore as hell but just keep in mind that it doesn’t last forever.
you can find more information about supplements that help with soreness in my other post)

  3. Stay positive: Cultivate a positive mindset.
Replace all negative self -talk with affirmations. Remind yourself of the progress you’ve made and the goals you’re working towards.
Your hard work will be paid off eventually.

  4. Reward yourself: Set up a reward system for yourself when you achieve a specific milestone.
It could be a new outfit, a massage or a guilt-free meal.
    Whatever your heart desires.
