Which gym tools will help you out the most?

Some people have no trouble going to the gym without using anything while others do.

Don’t see the fact that you need a gym item as a weakness but more as a support only to get better and stronger!

Wristpain

Knee and back pain

The more progress you will see while lifting weight the better right.
There is one downside to all this heavy lifting though.
Well that is the heavier the weights are getting, the bigger the chance of pain or injury will be.

That’s why there are all sorts of tools or items on the market to help you out during your gym session.
It’s still very important to know exactly what you will need to reduce your pain spot and help you with your specific problem.
Many people also use these tools without ACTUALLY having to, what will make them end up being independent from it and only make it harder for them to improve.

There are many things that could solve your problem but let’s dive a bit deeper in which ones are the easiest to use and where to get them.

Gloves

These are to prevent your hands from getting calluses. We want to keep our hands in tact while we train.

Weight lift Belt

Especially while squatting back pain happends to occur when you go heavier. A lifting belt supports your back in the best way.

Ancle straps

These are life savers when it comes to kick backs on the cable machine. In busy gyms they always tend to disappear. So it's better to have your own.

Knee compression sleeve

These are very helpful when it comes to squatting. It doesn't only help with knee pain but stabilization too.

Hip thrust pad

Definetely makes this exercise a LOT less pain full for your hip bones. Also makes it easier to go heavier. Could also be used for barbell squats.

Hip exercise band

Super convenient to exercise your mind-muscle-connection or to make your body weight squats more challenging.

A Full package

A set consisting of: A barbell pad, 2 gym ancle straps, hip exercise band, 2 squat pad safety belts and a carry bag. A perfect beginners package!

One thing I struggled the most with was definitely having wrist pain during heavier sets of RDL”s.
What I would use to reduce that pain are wrist straps and those helped me enormously!
I could finally go heavier on my sets and didn’t struggle anymore.
The only problem was I had to figure out by myself how to use them, and it wasn’t easy at the beginning…

How I use wrist straps to prevent wrist pain

You practically put the rope inside the loop and put your hand inside first.

Then you tie the rest of the rope with the sticky side around the bar/dumbbell and try to grab on to the end.

Make sure you are holding on to it tightly

How the hip thrust pad helped me out the most

You could use it for multiple exercises.
But it is mostly used for these 3. It protects your shoulder and hip bone area very well.

Pull up Bands

These are perfect to improve your pull-ups step by step. You get multiple sizes, so you can level up once it gets easier.

They have gotten me to the point that I can now do pull ups by myself. Which is amazing!
